1964 Marx, Heavy Duty Lumar Contractors Dump Truck in Original Box
Dazzling heavy gauge pressed steel dump truck just removed from its factory sealed box. Flawless mint condition! Wonderfully designed in yellow, red and white, and with a large gray dump bed. Comes complete with its nearly pristine original illustrated box. Beautifully detailed lithographed cab with embossed fender, grille, and headlight assembly. "Lumar Contractors" appears on both doors as a litho, not a decal. Dump bed is manually raised using side lever. Amazingly it hasn't a single tell-tale mark on the underside of the bed. It takes only one use of the lever to scratch the bottom. Mounted on four polyethylene treaded tires with steel axles. The rear tires have detailed black and yellow lithographed hubcaps. Dump bed is embossed on both sides and features a beveled tail. So no tailgate is needed. The box features a terrific main and rear panel illustration of the truck done in red, white, and blue.
